Description
[Youngin Distribution] Natural Dried Mushroom is a sun-dried wood-ear fungus that swells to roughly ten times its weight after soaking, bringing a springy bite and gentle earthiness to stir-fries, soups and salads without darkening broths or sauces.
How to Prepare
Soak the slices in warm water for 30–60 minutes until fully expanded.
Rinse twice, drain well and pat dry.
Combine soy sauce, chopped spring onion, garlic, sugar, sesame seeds and sesame oil to make a quick marinade; add shredded chilli.
Toss the rehydrated mushrooms in the marinade until evenly coated, then stir-fry with the sliced chilli for a glossy finish.
Tips
Use the prepared mushrooms in japchae, sweet-and-sour dishes or noodle soups.
For a softer bite, blanch the soaked mushrooms for one minute before cooking.
Store unused dried slices in an airtight jar away from heat and light to keep them fresh.
