The sauce pairs perfectly with tender chicken and vegetables, giving you the rich, comforting taste of traditional Korean cooking.

How to Use

Prepare 1 whole chicken (1kg), [CJ CheilJedang] Beksul Spicy Sauce for Braised Chicken (290g), 800ml of water, 150g of potatoes, 100g of carrots, 50g of onions, and 30g of green onions.

Boil the chicken for 5 minutes to remove any blood, then rinse with cold water and set aside.

Add the chicken, sauce, potatoes, carrots, and water to a pot. Bring to a boil with the lid off, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes on high heat.

Add onions and green onions, mix well, and continue cooking until tender.

For an added flavour, garnish with perilla leaves.

Tips

Store in a cool, dry place after opening.

For a richer taste, add extra vegetables like carrots, potatoes, and green onions.
