[Chungjungone] West Coast Sand Lance Fish Sauce is a premium ingredient for authentic Korean cooking, made with 100% domestic sand lances from Korea’s West Coast. This traditional ‘aekjeot’ undergoes a 2-stage filtration process to ensure only the cleanest fish sauce is bottled. This results in a clean aftertaste and a living, subtle flavour, providing a crucial umami depth for delicious kimchi and a variety of other dishes.

How to Enjoy

Use it in place of soy sauce or salt in braised dishes (jorim) for a deeper flavour.

Add a small amount to stir-fries (bokkeum) or seasoned side dishes (muchim).

It is an excellent seasoning to enhance the savoury taste of stews (jjigae).

Tips

When making kimchi, the recommended amount is 50g of fish sauce per head of napa cabbage.

A little goes a long way; start with a small amount as the flavour is concentrated.
