How to Prepare
Prepare your main ingredient (e.g., 2 medium squid or 450g octopus), 1/2 an onion, and 1/4 of a spring onion.
Clean and blanch the seafood in boiling water for 2 minutes, then cut into bite-sized pieces and drain.
In a hot, oiled pan, quickly stir-fry the sliced onion.
Add the blanched seafood, the sauce, and the spring onion, then stir-fry quickly until complete.
Tips
Blanching the seafood before stir-frying helps to create a cleaner dish without excess water.
For a richer meal, add plenty of vegetables from your refrigerator, like carrots and cabbage.
You can adjust the spiciness to your preference by adding fresh Cheongyang chillies or more chilli powder.
