[Paldo] Jjajangmyun delivers the rich and authentic taste of Korean-style black bean noodles. With thick, chewy noodles and a deeply flavoured jjajang sauce, this instant noodle dish provides a satisfying and delicious experience. The sauce, made with Paldo’s signature liquid seasoning, coats each strand of noodle perfectly, giving it a bold and savoury taste.

How to Prepare

Boil 600ml of water and add the noodles. Let them cook for 5 minutes.

Drain the noodles using a strainer, leaving behind 2–3 tablespoons of water.

Mix in the jjajang sauce thoroughly and enjoy.

Chef Lee Yeon-bok’s Special Recipe

Heat 2 teaspoons of cooking oil in a pan. Add ½ finely chopped green onion and ½ finely chopped Cheongyang chili (or 1 teaspoon of chili powder) and stir-fry.

Mix Paldo Jjajangmyun sauce with ¼ tablespoon of oyster sauce.

Combine the prepared sauce with the cooked noodles, mix well, and top with julienned cucumber for an even richer flavour.

Tips

For added depth, stir-fry the jjajang sauce briefly before mixing.

Pair with a fried egg or kimchi for a complete meal.
